Since 2008, research in the field of media studies with a focus on the Interconnections between Media/Critical Data Studies and Dis/Ability Studies, Media and Participation, Gaming (Dis/abled Gaming, Serious Gaming), Practices and Infrastructures of Hearing/Listening.

Since 2021, deputy director of the Centre for Human | Data | Society.

Member of the research project Transforming Infrastructure - Cultural Perspectives.

From 2015-2022, spokesperson for the DFG research group "Media and Participation" (www.mediaandparticipation.com).
